Let’s Talk About In Vitro Fertilization

Hey ladies, let’s talk  about In vitro fertilization or IVF. I know when Justin and I were trying to get pregnant and struggling with infertility many of our doctors recommended us go this route and we did give it lots of thought however in the end we decided to try a more natural approach and I am so glad we did because knowing what I know now about IVF it is a blessing we didn’t do it.

I know what some of you are thinking, “But coach Kela,  IVF works for some people. ” Yes you are correct it does however the risks far outweigh the rewards and I just want everyone to be informed so they can make the best decision for themselves and their future families.

Let’s Talk About In vitro fertilization (1)

What is In Vitro Fertilization or IVF?

In vitro fertilization is a medical procedure whereby an egg (sometimes a donor) is fertilized by sperm in a test tube or elsewhere outside the body and then implanted into the woman in hopes of a pregnancy.

In order to prep your body for IVF and to make sure you have plenty of mature eggs to retrieve you must give yourself trigger shots in the tummy to stimulate the production of multiple eggs in the ovaries. I don’t know about you but OUCH, no thank you.

Here are some staggering statistics.
  • 1 round of IVF costs $10-15,000. Most women require multiple rounds to see results
  • 1 round of IVF takes 12-16 weeks. That is a long time to see if something is going to work.
  • Success rate for healthy women under 35 is about 21%.
  • Success rate for healthy women over 35 is about 10%

It is extremely painful to inject yourself with hormones daily to make your body do something it should be doing naturally.

It’s physically, mentally, and emotionally draining

Why would you go through all that, there is a better way!

Many of you may have seen fertility and IVF clinics claiming that they have higher success rates, 40%, 50% or even higher. What they don’t tell you is a successful IVF cycle means you get pregnant. It doesn’t not mean you have a baby. So many things can happen between implantation and healthy pregnancy. Make sure you know the facts.

My client Shannon came to me after 3 years of TTC. She was considering IVF but knew the stats and didn’t want to put her body through that. She had been following me on Facebook for a while and knew I got results.

Her and I started working together and she started implementing my puzzle method and within a month she was feeling so much better. She was losing weight and her skin looked amazing. Her energy returned and she felt better than ever. Month two is when everything started to change. She got her libido back and actually wanted to have sex with her partner. (you must have sex to get pregnant).

Well it was during one of those spur of the moment romps in the hay that she became pregnant. After years of trying and she couldn’t be happier.

Doing my protocol first saved her thousands of dollars and pain to get what she wanted anyway. A healthy pregnancy and baby.

I am here to tell you there is a better way. A way that is safer, less invasive, more natural and that WORKS.
